Guwahati, October 24 (Udaipur Kiran): Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma has announced the launch of the CM-FLIGHT (Foreign Language and International Grooming for Holistic Transportation) programme aimed at preparing the state’s youth for global employment opportunities.

Under this initiative, young people from Assam will receive training in various foreign languages and skill sets to help them become job-ready for international markets.
As part of the initial phase, a pilot project for the Japanese language has been introduced. The Chief Minister said that a comprehensive support system is being established to train youth and assist them in securing overseas employment. The programme, he added, is designed to help Assam’s young generation build a strong global identity through skill enhancement and international exposure.
