City Union Bank reports 16% rise in Q2 net profit

City Union Bank has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2018.

The Bank has reported 16.05% rise in its net profit at Rs 167.99 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 144.76 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the Bank increased by 4.91% at Rs 1,045.04 crore for Q2FY19 as compared Rs 996.12 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

The Bank’s gross NPA for the July-September quarter of the current fiscal improved to 2.85%, as compared to 3.07% in the same quarter of the previous year. Besides, Bank’s Net NPA stood at 1.69% in Q2FY19.
