Jaipur, October 18 (Udaipur Kiran): Acting swiftly, the Taranagar Police in Churu district arrested two accused within two hours after they allegedly opened fire at a man’s house with the intent to kill. The rapid response came under the directions of District Superintendent of Police Jai Yadav.

According to SP Yadav, the incident took place on Saturday morning, October 18, around 11:00 a.m., when police received information about a firing incident at the residence of Mahavir Jhajharia, a resident of Ojariya village. SHO Satveer Meena immediately reached the spot with a police team and registered a case based on the victim’s written complaint.
Taking the matter seriously, Inspector General of Police, Bikaner Range, directed the formation of a special team under the close supervision of Additional SP Kishori Lal and Circle Officer Taranagar Rohit Sankhla.
The team, led by SHO Satveer Meena, used technical surveillance and local intelligence to trace and arrest the suspects within two hours of the incident. The accused were identified as Rajesh alias Chhotiya (25), son of Ramsingh, and Satish Kumar (22), son of Phoolaram — both residents of Ojariya.
Police said that both accused have a criminal background and have been involved in serious offenses earlier as well. Further investigation is underway to determine the motive behind the firing and details about the weapon used in the attack.
