Udaipur, May 1: Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary made his first visit to Nalanda district after taking office on Friday. He arrived by road in the village of Paranawan in the Sarmera block, where he participated as the chief guest in the state fair held at the birthplace of Shri Shri 108 Baba Mahato Sahib.
Upon reaching Paranawan village, the Chief Minister first visited the Baba Mahato Sahib temple, where he performed rituals and prayed for the prosperity of the state and the welfare of its people. He was given a guard of honor by Nalanda police at the temple premises.
Later, he arrived at the event venue, where he received a warm welcome on stage. Local representatives, heads of villages, and dignitaries honored him with bouquets and shawls. Following the welcome ceremony, the national anthem and patriotic songs were performed, filling the atmosphere with a spirit of nationalism.
CM Samrat Chaudhary shared pictures from this visit on his social media account, stating, “On the auspicious occasion of Buddha Purnima, I respectfully worshipped at Buddha Smriti Park in Patna, reflecting on the life messages of Lord Buddha. His life is an inspiration for all of us. By following his Eightfold Path, we can move towards a balanced, meaningful, and harmonious life. Let us all embrace his ideals and pledge to build a peaceful, harmonious, and developed Bihar.”
In light of this high-profile visit, district administration implemented strict security measures. Magistrates and police forces were deployed throughout the fair and village, and drone cameras were used to monitor crowds and security, ensuring immediate control over any situation. Several senior officials, the Superintendent of Police, local legislators, and leaders were also present at the event.
