Chandigarh : A case has been registered against the female constable Kulvinder Kaur of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) who allegedly slapped Member of Parliament and actress Kangana Ranaut.
The incident took place on Thursday evening when Kulvinder Kaur slapped Kangana Ranaut while she was on her way to Delhi. Following the incident, she was taken into custody by the officials present at the scene.

The jurisdiction of the case falls under Punjab. On Friday, the Airport police registered a case against Kulvinder Kaur under sections 323 (voluntarily causing hurt) and 341 (wrongful restraint) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
Initially, the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) constable was taken into custody and later suspended in the late hours. Meanwhile, Punjab BJP President Sunil Jakhar stated on Friday that any form of violence as a means of expressing disagreement is unacceptable and should be condemned.
uring this time, the Samyukt Kisan Morcha (non-political) and the All India Kisan Sangharsh Coordination Committee announced their support for the suspended CISF constable.
