Mumbai, October 31 (Udaipur Kiran): Shares of Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) edged higher by nearly 0.85% in early trade on Friday after the company announced that it has secured additional orders worth ₹732 crore across various business segments, further strengthening its defence and technology portfolio.

The stock opened at ₹413.45 on the BSE and was trading at ₹413.45, up ₹3.50 from its previous close of ₹409.95. During the session, it touched a high of ₹414.80 and a low of ₹412.20, with 5,363 shares traded so far.
BEL’s market capitalization currently stands at ₹3,02,222.81 crore. The stock has a 52-week high of ₹435.95 (01-Jul-2025) and a 52-week low of ₹240.15 (19-Feb-2025). In the past week, it has traded between ₹424.80 and ₹404.35.
As per the company’s shareholding structure, promoters hold 51.14%, while institutions and non-institutional investors hold 39.03% and 9.84%, respectively.
New Orders Strengthen Defence Portfolio
According to BEL, the newly bagged orders worth ₹732 crore include a wide range of products such as Software Defined Radios (SDRs), tank sub-systems, communication equipment, missile components, financial management software, cyber security solutions, upgrades, spares, and related services.
Earlier this month, the company had also announced an order worth ₹633 crore (excluding taxes) from Cochin Shipyard Limited, further reinforcing its strong order pipeline for FY26.
