Dhaka, March 19 : Bangladesh Air Force chief, Air Chief Marshal Shaikh Abdul Hannan, left for Australia on Saturday on an official visit at the invitation of his Australian counterpart. During the visit, he will attend an Air and Space Power Conference-2022 in Canberra which will be also attended by Air Force chiefs of several other countries including the US, Canada, The Maldives, Sri Lanka, Germany, India and Thailand. The event will focus on innovative approaches of air and space power for ensuring geo-strategic security in the Indo-Pacific region amidst a rapidly changing global security scenario. The relations between the Royal Australian Air Force and Bangladesh Air Force will be further strengthened by this visit, an official statement said. MR
