Barmer–Rishikesh Express to Run Only Up to Saharanpur for Three Days

Jodhpur, December 4 (Udaipur Kiran): Due to important technical upgradation and modernisation work at Dehradun station yard under the Northern Railway, the railways have made temporary changes in the operation of several trains during the non-interlocking block period. The works include replacement of the non-interlocking system, installation of modern colour light signalling, and redevelopment of loco pit and siding infrastructure along with other safety-related improvements.

According to Jodhpur Divisional Railway Manager Anurag Tripathi, these projects are essential for enhancing railway safety and operational capacity, and the temporary changes have been implemented for their smooth execution.

As a result, Train No. 14888 Barmer–Rishikesh Express will run only up to Saharanpur on December 7, 8 and 9. The service on the Saharanpur–Rishikesh section will remain completely suspended on these dates.

Similarly, Train No. 14887 Rishikesh–Barmer Express will remain partially cancelled between Rishikesh and Saharanpur on December 7 and 8. Operations beyond Saharanpur towards Jodhpur will continue as per schedule.
