Lahore, October 23 (Udaipur Kiran) — The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced its squads for the upcoming white-ball series against South Africa and Sri Lanka, along with the T20 tri-series featuring Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe. The PCB has named a 15-member T20 squad and a 16-member ODI squad for the series.

Salman Agha will continue as captain of the T20 team, while Shaheen Shah Afridi will lead the ODI side for the first time.
The series will also mark the return of key players Babar Azam, Abdul Samad, and Naseem Shah. In the ODI squad, Faisal Akram, Haris Rauf, and Haseebullah have made their comebacks, while Usman Tariq is the only uncapped player in the T20 squad.
Babar Azam last appeared in a T20 match in December 2024 against South Africa and was subsequently rested for the Bangladesh, West Indies, and Asia Cup 2025 series. Naseem Shah last played a T20 in November 2024 and appeared in an ODI most recently in August 2025.
For the T20 squad, Fakhar Zaman, Haris Rauf, and Sufiyan Muqeem have been named as reserve players.
Pakistan are currently playing a Test series against South Africa, after which the teams will play three T20Is and three ODIs.
Following this, Pakistan will host Sri Lanka for a three-match ODI series from November 11 to 15.
As part of their preparations for the T20 World Cup, Pakistan will then take part in a T20 tri-series with Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe, starting November 19. Originally, Afghanistan was scheduled to be the third team, but it withdrew due to political reasons.
