Udaipur, 15 August (Kiran News). Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and excitement today at MDS Senior Secondary School. The programme began with the hoisting of the national flag and the national anthem by Chief Guest Mr. Rajendra Parikh, school trustee Dr. Ramesh Chandra Somani, Mrs. Pushpa Somani, and School Director Dr. Shailendra Somani.

As part of the Independence Day celebrations, the students presented a grand march-past in a disciplined manner. Saluting the national flag, the children displayed a remarkable sense of patriotism and discipline. Their uniformity and coordination won the hearts of all present.
On this occasion, students also presented poetry recitations, dance, music, and patriotic songs. These colourful performances filled the atmosphere with patriotic fervour and emotion. The audience appreciated the students’ talent and enthusiasm.
In his address, School Director Dr. Shailendra Somani remembered the sacrifices of the freedom fighters and encouraged the students to always be ready to serve the country. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks.
