Army Chief Gen. Bipin Rawat said that India wants peace at borders but Pakistan continuously violates ceasefire that causes loss of life and property.
He said that in such a situation, Indian Army is left with no other option but to retaliate. However, Gen. Rawat said that if Pakistan wants peace, then it should take the initiative of stopping infiltration.
The Army chief is on a two-day visit to Jammu and kashmir to review the prevailing security situation in the Kashmir valley.
