Apple discontinue iPhone 13 Mini after iPhone 15 announcement

If you’re a fan of small phones, you may soon run out of options to buy the iPhone 13 Mini. Two years after its release, Apple is reportedly planning to discontinue the iPhone 13 mini following the iPhone 15 announcement scheduled for tomorrow, September 12.

According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, inventory of the iPhone 13 Mini is low, so Apple’s US stores are offering at least two to three weeks for delivery to those who order from the online store. According to MacRumors, the shortage could mean the beginning of the end for the iPhone 13 mini, as Apple will stop sales after the launch of the iPhone 15 series.

Sales of the iPhone 13 Mini models have been disappointing since their release. This is a big reason why Apple discontinued the Mini. Due to poor sales, Apple stopped production of the iPhone 12 Mini a year after its official release. Due to the poor reception of mini iPhones, Apple did not release the iPhone 14 Mini last year, and may never do so until there is a strong demand for smaller phones.

With the death of the iPhone 13 mini, the “SE” models remained the only entry-level option for users. However, it’s unlikely that the iPhone 13’s 5.4-inch screen will be on the upcoming iPhone SE 4, as the latter is rumored to have a larger 6.1-inch screen. On the other hand, the iPhone SE 4 is expected to have rounded corners and a notch design similar to the iPhone 13 mini.

If you really like small phones, you can still buy the iPhone SE 3 after Apple stopped selling the iPhone 13 Mini. However, the SE 3’s 4.7-inch display may be too small for many. But if you don’t mind, you can buy them using the links below.
