New Delhi, April 25: The Andaman and Nicobar Police has officially announced a recruitment drive for a total of 495 positions across various categories and units, as per their recent notification.
The vacancies include 31 Sub-Inspectors (Executive), 155 Constables (Executive), 4 Constables (Bandman), 10 Cleaners (Executive), and several other roles such as Cook, Tailor, and Washerman. Additionally, the Police Radio Organization has openings for 71 Radio Operators (ASI), 12 Radio Technicians (ASI), and more.
From the Police Motor Transport, there are 2 Sub-Inspectors, 1 Dealing Assistant, and 15 Constable (Driver) positions available. The Marine Force has 2 Sub-Inspectors and several Constable roles as well.
The Fire and Emergency Services department is also hiring, with positions for 1 Station Officer, 77 Firemen, and various other roles.
The online application process will commence on April 27 and will close on May 17. Candidates interested in applying can submit their registration forms on the official website once the link is activated.
Applicants must have completed 10th, 12th, or graduated from a recognized institution, depending on the position. The age limit for candidates ranges from 18 to 33 years, with a maximum age of 38 years for women, calculated as of May 17. Relaxation in age limits is provided for reserved category candidates.
Selection will be based on physical measurement and endurance tests, written exams, skill tests, document verification, and medical examinations. Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹19,900 to ₹1,12,400, along with additional benefits.
Candidates are required to pay a registration fee of ₹100 for General/OBC/EWS male applicants, while women and candidates from the ST category are exempt from this fee.
