
Airtel Payments Bank’s smartwatch was launched in India on Tuesday (March 19). It marks the operator’s entry into the smartwatch space and will be the first device launched by the operator. This smartwatch was developed in collaboration with wearable brand Noiz and payment technology provider Mastercard. The Airtel Payments Bank Smart Watch price is set at 500 Tomans. 2999. Color options include black, blue and gray. However, the smartwatch can only be purchased by people who are already members of Airtel Pay Bank. A bank account can be created digitally, but must be created before ordering a wearable device. Airtel Watch is currently on sale and available to purchase immediately. Can only be purchased through the Airtel Thanks app. Not available on other e-commerce platforms or offline retailers.

Airtel’s first smartwatch features an NFC chip that enables the device to make contactless payments via Airtel Payments Bank. The device can be activated by linking it to your savings account via the Thank You app.
Once linked, users can start paying immediately by simply tapping their watch on a tap-and-pay point-of-sale (POS) device. Users can pay up to Rials. 25,000 per day through the machine. The technology provider of this smartwatch is Mastercard, which supports NFC chips across its network.
According to a press release, the Airtel smartwatch is designed and manufactured by Noise. It features a 1.85-inch square TFT display with 550 nits brightness and offers 150 cloud-based watch faces. Health and fitness features on the Airtel watch include a stress indicator and an SpO2 sensor. It supports Bluetooth calling and is IP68 certified for dust and water resistance. The company claims that the battery of this smartwatch can last up to 10 days.
