Udaipur, October 30 (Udaipur Kiran) — In a major boost to connectivity and tourism, Air India Express will launch direct flights from Udaipur to Delhi and Bengaluru starting November 1. This marks the first time the airline will operate non-stop services from Maharana Pratap Airport, Udaipur, on these two busy routes.
Both routes will have one daily flight each, enhancing travel options for tourists, students, and business travelers. The move comes as part of Air India Express’s winter schedule expansion, which now extends the airline’s network to 60 destinations across India and abroad.
Currently, there are eight daily flights between Udaipur and Delhi and only one flight between Udaipur and Bengaluru. The addition of these two new services is expected to ease passenger load and improve scheduling flexibility for travelers.
SpiceJet to Resume Udaipur Operations from November 6
After a gap of nearly a year, SpiceJet will resume operations at Udaipur Airport from November 6, offering daily non-stop flights to Delhi and Mumbai. These flights will operate through the winter season, from November 2025 to March 2026 — a period when Udaipur witnesses a surge in tourist arrivals.
The airline had suspended several routes in 2024 due to financial challenges but is now expanding again with the addition of new Boeing 737 and Airbus A340 aircraft to its fleet.
IndiGo Expands Udaipur-Hyderabad Connectivity
Meanwhile, IndiGo has introduced two new daily flights on the Udaipur–Hyderabad route, with an additional third flight every Saturday. This expanded connectivity will benefit tourists, professionals, and families, strengthening business and cultural exchange between Udaipur and India’s IT capital, Hyderabad.
With the upcoming Air India Express routes, SpiceJet’s return, and IndiGo’s expanded network, Udaipur is set to become one of Rajasthan’s most well-connected destinations, providing a major push to tourism, trade, and educational mobility.
