Jaipur, April 7, 2026 (Udaipur Kiran) — The Anti Corruption Bureau Rajasthan has arrested an agriculture supervisor for allegedly accepting a bribe in Bhiwadi.
According to officials, the accused, Ramswaroop, posted at Gram Panchayat Sihali Khurd in Mundawar tehsil of Khairthal-Tijara district, was caught red-handed while taking ₹1,000 as bribe.
The action was taken by the ACB Bhiwadi unit following a complaint from a complainant, who alleged that the official had demanded money to approve subsidy-related documents submitted on the Rajasthan Kisan Portal for a sprinkler pipeline scheme. As per the complaint, the accused had already taken ₹2,000 through PhonePe and was further demanding ₹2,500, causing harassment.
Acting on the complaint, the ACB team conducted verification and laid a trap under the supervision of Deputy Inspector General of Police Anil Kayal. The operation was led by Bhiwadi ACB in-charge and Deputy Superintendent of Police Parmeshwar Lal.
During the trap, it was confirmed that the accused had earlier accepted ₹500 on April 6 during verification and was caught while accepting the remaining ₹1,000 from the complainant.
