Kota, April 9 (Udaipur Kiran): To manage increased passenger demand during the summer season, railway authorities have announced the operation of a special train between Pune and Hazrat Nizamuddin, while also regularising the Agra Cantt–Asarwa Superfast Express to run five days a week.
Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Saurabh Jain said that Pune–Hazrat Nizamuddin Special will operate from April 17 to July 10, departing every Friday from Pune at 5:30 pm. The train will reach Kota the next morning at 10:40 am and arrive at Hazrat Nizamuddin at 6:30 pm.
In the return direction, Hazrat Nizamuddin–Pune Special will run from April 18 to July 11, departing every Saturday at 9:25 pm and reaching Kota at 5:40 am on Sunday, before arriving in Pune at 11:55 pm.
The train will halt at several major stations in both directions, including Pune Junction, Lonavala, Kalyan Junction, Bhiwandi Road, Vasai Road, Vapi, Surat, Vadodara Junction, Ratlam Junction, Shamgarh, Bhawani Mandi, Ramganj Mandi, Kota Junction, Sawai Madhopur Junction, Gangapur City Junction, Bharatpur Junction, Mathura Junction, and Hazrat Nizamuddin.
The special train will have a total of 20 coaches, including 4 General, 8 Sleeper, 4 Third AC, and 2 Second AC coaches.
Meanwhile, the Agra Cantt–Asarwa service, earlier running as a special train, has now been regularised. Agra Cantt–Asarwa Superfast Express will operate five days a week.
Train number 20178 will depart from Agra Cantt at 6:45 pm, except on Mondays and Tuesdays. It will halt at Gangapur City (9:05 pm), Sawai Madhopur (9:48 pm), Keshorai Patan (11:15 pm), Bundi (12:08 am), Mandalgarh (1:38 am), and Chanderiya (3:05 am), reaching Asarwa Junction at 11:00 am.
In the return direction, train number 20177 will depart from Asarwa at 3:00 pm, except on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, halting at Chanderiya (10:40 pm), Mandalgarh (11:28 pm), Bundi (12:23 am), Keshorai Patan (1:10 am), Sawai Madhopur (2:30 am), and Gangapur City (3:20 am), before reaching Agra Cantt at 7:15 am.
