ACME Solar Rallies After LoA for 220 MW Solar-BESS Project

Mumbai, February 10, 2026 (Udaipur Kiran): Shares of ACME Solar Holdings Limited were trading higher on Tuesday after the company announced that it has received a Letter of Award (LoA) for a 220 MW solar project with Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) in Madhya Pradesh.

The stock was trading at ₹232.90 on the BSE, up ₹4.80 or 2.10 per cent from its previous close of ₹228.10. It opened at ₹231.55 and touched an intraday high of ₹235.05 and a low of ₹230.00. A total of 41,148 shares were traded on the counter so far.

The BSE Group ‘A’ stock, with a face value of ₹2, has touched a 52-week high of ₹324.25 on September 15, 2025, and a 52-week low of ₹171.90 on February 17, 2025. Over the past one week, the stock moved between a high of ₹235.05 and a low of ₹218.10. The company’s market capitalisation stood at ₹14,076.73 crore.

Promoters hold 83.29 per cent stake in the company, while institutional and non-institutional investors hold 10.91 per cent and 5.80 per cent respectively.

ACME Solar Holdings said it has received the LoA from Rewa Ultra Mega Solar for the 220 MW Solar-BESS project, which is part of a 440 MW tender for the Morena Solar Park in Madhya Pradesh. The tender was floated under tariff-based competitive bidding guidelines, with an e-reverse auction conducted in September 2025.

Under the project terms, power is to be supplied with a maximum annual capacity utilisation factor of 35 per cent, along with four hours of peak supply comprising two hours each during morning and evening, at 95 per cent annual availability. Energy for the evening peak will be charged from the solar plant, while energy for the morning peak will be supplied free of cost by the procurer during night hours. Land and evacuation infrastructure above the 33 kV level will be provided by Rewa Ultra Mega Solar. The project will also comply with ALMM List-I requirements and incorporate the benefit of reduced GST rates already passed through.

The project will combine solar and BESS technologies to meet supply obligations under a power purchase agreement with a tenure of 25 years. The PPA will be signed with Madhya Pradesh Power Management Company Limited and Rewa Ultra Mega Solar.
