Chhatarpur, February 16: In a thrilling T20 World Cup match, Team India secured a significant victory against Pakistan, marking a decisive win for the Indian side. Following the match, Acharya Dhirendra Shastri of Bageshwar Dham remarked, “A father is always a father,” highlighting the dominance of Team India.
Shastri drew parallels between the Indian Army’s “Operation Sindoor,” where they delivered a strong response to the enemy, and the cricket match, where Indian players also gave Pakistan a resounding defeat. He expressed his admiration for the team’s performance, stating, “I had already said during the match that the Indian players are formidable. Just as the army struck back, the cricket players have done the same.”
He encouraged his supporters to applaud Team India, emphasizing that while India may lose to other countries, it should always triumph over Pakistan. Shastri noted, “The hearts of Pakistanis must be racing, but we want to tell them not to worry; a father is a father.”
He clarified that he did not win the match but credited the players for their excellent performance, stating, “We only prayed to God. We are with them.” He concluded by reiterating the success of both the army and the cricket team against Pakistan, asserting that they now have no chances left.
In the match, India batted first, scoring 175 runs for the loss of 7 wickets, while Pakistan was bowled out for just 114 runs in 18 overs.
