Meanwhile, Al Jazeera reported that the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) continue to bombard Gaza, even as ceasefire talks remain underway. In the last 48 hours, the Israeli Air Force has carried out over 130 airstrikes, targeting Gaza City, administrative centers, and refugee camps.

Amid escalating violence, truce negotiations between Israel and Hamas are expected to begin today in Egypt, with Hamas’s delegation already in Cairo. The talks, reportedly mediated by Egypt and based on a ceasefire proposal from U.S. President Donald Trump, are being closely watched by the international community.
