3 Udaipur Youths Die of Poisoning in Dubai, Bodies Repatriated After 32 Days

Udaipur : Three youths from Vallabhnagar area of Udaipur died of poisoning in Dubai. Their bodies were repatriated after about 32 days. Their last rites will be performed in their respective villages on Saturday. It is not yet clear whether the three consumed poison together or were given it.

The deceased include Parsaram (20), son of Hemraj Gurjar, from Nadiya Khedi, Shyamlal (27), son of Bhima Gurjar, from Pipli Talai, Gotipa, and Ramchandra (32), son of Narayan Janwa, from Chaylon ka Kheda (Intali Kheda), all from Vallabhnagar police station area. The Rajasthan government had sought information about the families of the three youths from Collector Arvind Poswal on July 12. This detail was conveyed to External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar through Chittorgarh MP C.P. Joshi and Vallabhnagar MLA Udaylal Dang. After the formalities, the bodies were sent from Dubai by flight on Friday.

All three youths were chefs in Dubai. They all lived in the same room. They had video called their family members on the night of July 6. Then they went to sleep after dinner. The next morning, Parsaram and Ramchandra were found dead, while Shyamlal died in the hospital. A post-mortem revealed poison in the bodies of all three. The bodies of Parsaram and Ramchandra were brought to Ahmedabad International Airport in an ambulance on Saturday morning, while Shyamlal’s body will be brought at 1 pm. Due to the rule of not carrying 3 bodies in one flight, the bodies were sent in two batches.
