On the way they halted near an anikut (check dam) which was on full flow. The youths climbed on the dam wall and posed for selfies. Sanjay who suddenly lost his balance, fell down in the stream and was washed away in the fierce flow. His friends ran along the stream to some half kilometer in order to save him but Sanjay disappeared from their sight. The rescue operation continued on Monday too, however he couldn’t be traced till evening.
