Beijing, October 20 (Udaipur Kiran): Xiaomi has officially confirmed that it will introduce a new ‘Golden White’ color variant of the Redmi K Pad at its upcoming launch event in China on October 23, 2025. The event will also feature major product unveilings, including the Redmi K90 series and the Redmi Watch 6.

The new Golden White edition appears to match the Flowing Gold White finish of the upcoming Redmi K90 Pro Max, giving Xiaomi’s latest lineup a unified, premium aesthetic. Apart from the new look, the tablet’s specifications remain identical to the standard version.
Redmi K Pad Specifications
The Redmi K Pad sports an 8.8-inch LCD display with a 3008×1880 resolution, 16:10 aspect ratio, and an adaptive 165Hz refresh rate. The panel supports HDR10, HDR Vivid, and Dolby Vision, offering up to 700 nits brightness. It also includes DC dimming, a Real RGB pixel layout, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, along with TÜV Rheinland triple certifications for eye comfort.
Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ (3nm) chipset, the tablet features an octa-core CPU clocked up to 3.73GHz and an Immortalis-G925 MC12 GPU. Its center-placed SoC layout helps reduce heating near the grip area, while a large 12,050mm² aluminum vapor chamber ensures stable performance during 3K gaming sessions.
The device runs HyperOS 2, based on Android 15, offering deep integration across Xiaomi’s ecosystem and even cross-platform compatibility with Apple devices.
Performance and Audio
The tablet is backed by a 7,500mAh battery supporting 67W fast charging and Bypass Charging Plus, which draws power directly from the charger during gaming to minimize heat. The battery is TÜV SÜD certified to retain 80% capacity after 1,800 charge cycles.
Audio quality is handled by a quad-ring symmetrical dual-speaker system, 78% louder and 15% slimmer than its predecessor, with Dolby Atmos support. Connectivity options include dual USB-C ports and Wi-Fi 7 with a tri-antenna design for improved stability.
Camera and Design
The Redmi K Pad features a 13MP OV13B rear camera with f/2.2 aperture and PDAF, and an 8MP OV08D front camera for selfies and video calls. The all-metal unibody design adds durability and a premium in-hand feel.
With the addition of the new Golden White variant, Xiaomi aims to expand its appeal among design-conscious users, complementing the tablet’s already powerful hardware and flagship-grade features.
