The Xiaomi Mix Flip was launched in China earlier this month alongside the Xiaomi Mix Fold 4 and Redmi K70 Ultra as the smartphone maker’s first foldable smartphone. According to reports, this device will also be available in global markets and company managers have announced the release date and retail price of Xiaomi Mix Flip. The launch of Xiaomi Mix Flip in Europe has been confirmed by the Country Manager of Xiaomi Mobile Bulgaria. The report (in Bulgarian) states that the smartphone will be launched in Eastern Europe after August 15th. The publication quoted a company executive as saying that the Xiaomi Mix Flip will be priced at 2,600 Leu (approximately Rs. 120,800) in Europe. Specifications of Xiaomi Mixflip
Launched in China on July 19, Xiaomi Mix Flip runs on HyperOS based on Android 14. It has a built-in 6.86-inch 1.5K (1224 x 2912 pixels) flexible AMOLED display with a refresh rate of up to at 120 Hz and a flexible 4.01-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K (1392 x 1280 pixels). Equipped with Snapdragon 8 Generation 3 chipset and up to 16 GB RAM.
The company’s first foldable phone features a dual external camera, consisting of a 50-megapixel Light Fusion 800 main sensor and a 50-megapixel OmniVision OV60A40 sensor with up to 2x optical zoom and a telephoto lens. These cameras are calibrated by Leica. There’s a 32-megapixel OV32B sensor on the front for selfies and video calls.
Xiaomi Mix Flip offers up to 1TB of internal UFS 4.0 storage. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, GPS and a USB Type-C port.
Xiaomi Mix Flip is equipped with a 4780mAh battery that can be charged at 67W via the Type-C port. There is a fingerprint scanner on the side for biometric authentication. According to the company, it measures 167.5 x 74.02 x 16.19 mm (when folded) and weighs 192 grams.
