Key Changes Announced for Holi and Summer Special Trains

Mumbai, March 8Western Railway has announced revisions in the stoppages of multiple Holi and summer special trains to improve passenger convenience and enhance operational efficiency. According to an official statement from the Western Railway Public Relations Department, the changes will be implemented from March 8, 2025, onwards.

Key Stoppage Modifications

Trains to Halt at Kota Instead of Dakania Talav

  • Train No. 09075 Mumbai Central–Kathgodam Superfast Weekly Special will now stop at Kota (00:35 AM – 00:40 AM) from March 12, 2025.
  • Train No. 09076 Kathgodam–Mumbai Central Superfast Weekly Special will halt at Kota (06:30 AM – 06:35 AM) from March 13, 2025.
  • Train No. 09185 Mumbai Central–Kanpur Anwarganj Superfast Special will stop at Kota (00:35 AM – 00:40 AM) from March 9, 2025.
  • Train No. 09186 Kanpur Anwarganj–Mumbai Central Superfast Special will halt at Kota (06:30 AM – 06:35 AM) from March 10, 2025.
  • Train No. 09417 Ahmedabad–Danapur Special will now stop at Kota (6:20 PM – 6:25 PM) from March 10, 2025.
  • Train No. 09418 Danapur–Ahmedabad Special will halt at Kota (02:25 AM – 02:30 AM) from March 11, 2025.
  • Train No. 09101 Vadodara–Haridwar Superfast Special will have a new halt at Kota (02:40 AM – 02:45 AM) from March 8, 2025.
  • Train No. 09102 Haridwar–Vadodara Superfast Special will stop at Kota (03:50 AM – 03:55 AM) from March 9, 2025.

Additional Stoppages for Bandra Terminus–Rewa Weekly Special

  • Train No. 09129 Bandra Terminus–Rewa Weekly Special will have an additional halt at Itarsi (9:05 PM – 9:15 PM) from March 13, 2025.
  • Train No. 09130 Rewa–Bandra Terminus Weekly Special will stop at Itarsi (7:55 PM – 8:05 PM) from March 14, 2025.

Enhanced Travel Convenience for Passengers

With these modifications, Western Railway aims to provide better connectivity and improve travel convenience for passengers heading towards key destinations such as Kota, Kanpur, Ahmedabad, and Rewa.
