Kolkata, June 23 (Udaipur Kiran): The weather in Kolkata and other parts of the state has returned to normal after three days of continuous light rain.
According to a statement issued by the Regional Headquarters of the Meteorological Department in Alipore on Sunday, the minimum temperature in Kolkata was recorded at 28.3 degrees Celsius, one degree above normal, while the maximum temperature was recorded at 33.1 degrees Celsius, one degree below normal.

Rainfall of 1.5 mm was recorded in the last 24 hours.
Apart from Kolkata, temperatures in other parts of the state, including Howrah, Hooghly, North and South 24 Parganas, East and West Midnapore, Purulia, and Bankura, are expected to remain between 28 and 33 degrees Celsius. There is a possibility of scattered showers throughout the day today, which will provide further relief from the heat. Light rain is also expected in Alipurduar, Cooch Behar, Jalpaiguri, Darjeeling, and Kalimpong in North Bengal.
