New Delhi, October 22 (Udaipur Kiran): Telecom operator Vodafone Idea Limited (VIL) has revised its popular ₹429 prepaid plan, changing both its validity period and data benefits. The revamped version is currently visible in the Rajasthan circle, while other regions such as Himachal Pradesh continue to show the older benefits.

The ₹429 plan has been a mid-range option for users seeking service validity at a reasonable price point. However, Vodafone Idea has now reduced the plan’s validity but increased the total data allowance.
🔁 New vs Old Benefits of Vodafone Idea ₹429 Plan
| Feature | Old Benefits | New Benefits (Rajasthan Circle) |
|---|---|---|
| Total Data | 3GB | 5GB |
| Voice Calling | Unlimited | Unlimited |
| SMS | 600 (total) | 600 (total) |
| Service Validity | 84 days | 65 days |
| Daily Cost | ₹5.11 per day | ₹6.6 per day |
While the validity has been reduced from 84 days to 65 days, users now get 2GB additional data. The calling and SMS benefits remain unchanged, and the plan still offers unlimited voice calls.
The update effectively raises the daily cost but enhances data availability, a move that could appeal to users with moderate internet needs.
As of now, Vodafone Idea has not confirmed whether these new benefits will be rolled out across other telecom circles. The company has also been investing in 4G network upgrades to improve overall customer experience and service reliability.
