Vivo’s flagship lineup continues to evolve, with new details surfacing about the highly anticipated Vivo X200 Ultra. After the successful release of the Vivo X200 and X200 Pro in India and other markets, Vivo appears to be gearing up for the X200 Ultra’s debut in China in early 2025. Alongside this flagship, leaked information hints at Vivo’s ambitious product roadmap for the coming year.

Vivo X200 Ultra Launch Timeline in China
According to renowned tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS), a Snapdragon 8 Elite-powered Vivo flagship is expected to launch in March or April 2025. While the tipster hasn’t explicitly mentioned the Vivo X200 Ultra, it is widely speculated to be the device in question.
If true, this marks an earlier release compared to the Vivo X100 Ultra, which launched in May 2024. The Vivo X200 Ultra is rumored to feature:
- A 50MP 1/1.3-inch primary camera sensor, offering exceptional imaging capabilities.
- A 200MP periscope 1/1.4-inch sensor, designed for high-quality zoom and telephoto shots.
- A third, yet-to-be-detailed camera to complete the triple-lens setup.
Given that the Vivo X100 Ultra hasn’t made its way to India, there’s little optimism about the X200 Ultra launching in the Indian market anytime soon.
Vivo’s 2025 Product Roadmap
DCS has also provided insights into Vivo’s broader 2025 product lineup, which appears to be on a faster release cycle than 2024. Key highlights include:
- Snapdragon 8 Elite-Powered Foldable:
A new foldable device, likely named Vivo X Fold 4 or X Fold 4 Pro, is expected to launch around June or July 2025. This follows the release of the X Fold 3 series in March 2024. - Dimensity 9400-Powered Tablet:
Vivo is reportedly developing a high-performance tablet featuring MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400 chipset, targeting premium users. - Midrange Small-Screen Smartphones:
Vivo is planning to expand its portfolio with compact, midrange smartphones, catering to users who prefer smaller, more portable devices. - S-Branded Flagships (Vivo X200s Series):
The Vivo X200s series, possibly succeeding the X100s lineup, is expected to debut in April 2025, a month earlier than its predecessor’s May 2024 launch.
