Vivo is gearing up to expand its V-series lineup with the vivo V50e, a camera-centric mid-range smartphone that’s already creating buzz ahead of its official launch. The upcoming device now has landing pages on both vivo.com and Amazon India, revealing much of its premium design and impressive camera hardware.

📸 Dual 50MP Cameras with 4K Recording
The vivo V50e is all about imaging power, featuring a 50MP front-facing ultra-wide selfie camera that supports 0.8x and 1.0x zoom levels — with a 106° wide-angle lens for group selfies and scenic backgrounds. This front camera is also capable of 4K video recording, making it ideal for vloggers and content creators.
On the rear, the phone boasts a 50MP Sony IMX882 sensor with OIS and multiple portrait focal lengths — 1x, 1.5x, and 2x — for versatile shooting. You also get a 116° ultra-wide camera and Aura Light (vivo’s signature ring light) to enhance night portraits and low-light photos.
Both front and rear cameras support 4K video, giving users flagship-level video capabilities in a mid-range segment.
📱 Premium Design with Quad-Curved Display
The vivo V50e comes with a quad-curved AMOLED display, a rarity in this segment, providing a flagship look and immersive visual experience. The curves extend smoothly around the edges, giving the phone a sophisticated aesthetic and comfortable hand feel.
Available Colors: Sapphire Blue & Pearl White
Design Inspiration: Reminiscent of the vivo S20 series
Additional Features: “Wedding Portrait Studio” with fun filters like Prosecco, Neo Retro, and Pastel
💧 Built Tough: IP68/IP69 Rating + SGS Drop Resistance
Unlike most mid-range phones, the V50e comes with IP68 and IP69 certifications, making it resistant to both dust and water — including protection against submersion and high-temperature water jets. It also features Underwater Photography Mode.
Durability gets a major thumbs-up with an SGS Five-Star Drop Resistance certification. The phone reportedly survived 42,000 drop simulations, making it one of the toughest phones in its segment.
⚙️ What We Know So Far
While the complete hardware specs are under wraps, benchmarks suggest that the V50e will feature a different chipset than the vivo S20, pointing to a new and possibly more efficient processor optimized for imaging tasks.

With its official teaser pages now live, the vivo V50e is expected to launch in India very soon, possibly within the first half of April 2025.
