Both phones sport nearly the same design with key specifications; however, the former features a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC, while the latter sports a Snapdragon 685 chipset. The phone bears a dual rear camera unit and comes with a 32-megapixel selfie shooter. They come with IP64-rated builds with dust and splash resistance. Both of the devices are bestowed with 5,000mAh batteries with support for 80W fast charging.

The Vivo V40 Lite 5G is available in Indonesia at IDR 4,299,000, which is around the mark of approximately Rs. 23,700 for the 8GB + 256GB variant. However, the 12GB + 512GB model is present on the Vivo website, and until now, it’s not announced with any price tag.
The Vivo V40 Lite 4G is offered with two configurations – the 8GB + 128GB model starts at around IDR 3,599,000 and the 8GB + 256GB version is around IDR 3,699,000. The Vivo V40 Lite 4G is available for purchase from the official Vivo e-store in Indonesia.
Vivo V40 Lite 5G In the listed color options, the phone comes in Carbon Black and Titanium Silver shades, and the 4G model is available in the same color options, with an extra Pearl Violet shade.

In contrast, the Vivo V40 Lite 4G has an unspecified 50-megapixel primary rear sensor besides a 2-megapixel depth sensor.
