Vivo V30 series will be launched in India soon. The product range includes the base model Vivo V30 and Vivo V30 Pro. The vanilla Vivo V30 was first launched in select global markets in early February. Therefore, the Indian version of the phone is expected to have similar specifications as the global phone. The Pro model is scheduled to go on sale in Thailand on February 28th. The company has already announced the launch date of the Vivo V30 series in India.
Vivo has announced that the Vivo V30 series, which includes the Vivo V30 and Vivo V30 Pro, will be launched in India on March 7 at 12:00 IST. A mobile phone microsite has been launched on Flipkart and its availability has been confirmed on the e-commerce website. Previously, the company had confirmed that the phone will be available in at least three colors: Andaman Blue, Classic Black and Peacock Green.
The Vivo V30 Pro has been confirmed to come with a triple rear camera setup. The range also includes an OIS-enabled portrait camera and Vivo’s signature Aura Light, a square LED flash unit mounted on the back. According to the ads, the phone will also come with a Zeiss-backed camera.
The global version of Vivo V30 comes with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC, a 5000mAh battery with 80W fast charging support and a 6.78-inch Full HD 120Hz AMOLED display. As for the optics, apart from the Aura Light unit, the smartphone has a primary 50-megapixel OV50E sensor with support for optical image stabilization (OIS) and an ultra-wide-angle lens. The front camera also has a 50 megapixel sensor.
Meanwhile, the Vivo V30 Pro is a rebranded version of the Vivo S18 Pro that was launched in China in December 2023. The company has confirmed that the Vivo V30 Pro will come with a 50-megapixel triple rear camera setup. According to the report, it could include a 50-megapixel Sony IMX920 main sensor, a 50-megapixel Sony IMX816 portrait camera, and a third sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens.
Vivo V30 Pro may support MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC just like Vivo S18 Pro. It will also likely soon run FuntouchOS 14 based on Android 14 and feature a 6.78-inch Full HD+ 120Hz AMOLED display. The phone may have an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance. Vivo plans to equip the phone with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 80W wired fast charging.
