Udaipur, February 8 – The Vedanta Udaipur World Music Festival 2025 transformed Lake City Udaipur into a mesmerizing symphony of Indian and international music on its second day. Hosted at three **iconic locations—Manji Ghat, Fatehsagar Pal, and Gandhi Ground—**this festival, conceptualized by Seher and supported by Hindustan Zinc Limited and Rajasthan Tourism, remains free for all, offering an immersive experience of diverse musical traditions from across the world.

A Serene Morning at Manji Ghat

The day commenced at the picturesque Manji Ghat, set against the backdrop of the City Palace and Jag Mandir. The audience experienced a tranquil start with the soulful Carnatic melodies of Ritvik Raja, followed by a mesmerizing performance from Iran’s Delgocha Ensemble, introducing the rich Radif tradition of Persian classical music.

Afternoon Bliss at Fatehsagar Pal

As the sun ascended, the festival moved to the Fatehsagar Pal, where the calm waters and refreshing ambiance set the stage for an eclectic mix of contemporary sounds. Chizai captivated the audience with a fusion of pop and funk, while Ali Dogan Gonultas and his ensemble brought alive the folk traditions of Kurdistan and Turkey. The afternoon session concluded with an extraordinary performance by Karsh Kale and Peter Tegnér, blending electronic and acoustic music to create an ethereal soundscape.

A Power-Packed Evening at Gandhi Ground

As night fell, the Gandhi Ground stage turned into a vibrant epicenter of world music, featuring some of the most renowned artists in the global music circuit.

🎵 Sarang Orchestra opened the evening with traditional Indian melodies.
🎵 Kutle Khan captivated the audience with his soulful Rajasthani folk rhythms, bringing to life the rich cultural heritage of India.
🎵 Ziskakan from Réunion Island introduced an exquisite blend of African, Asian, and European sounds, infusing the air with Creole influences.
🎵 Euphoria, the iconic Hindi rock band, brought electrifying energy, with fans singing along to their legendary anthems.
🎵 The evening concluded with a high-energy performance by Romano Drom from Hungary, whose gypsy music seamlessly merged Indian and modern influences, leaving the audience in awe and applause.
