
Vedanta has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2017.
The company has reported 31.20% rise in its net profit at Rs 471 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 359 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 24.36% at Rs 10,722 crore for Q2FY18 as compared Rs 8,622 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
On the consolidated basis, the company has reported 42.98% rise in its net profit at Rs 2036 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2017 as compared to Rs 1424 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. The total income of the company increased by 23.75% at Rs 22,466 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 18,154 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2016.
