UPSSSC Recruitment Alert 2026: 708 Vacancies for Forest Guards Starting June 30

Lucknow, April 25: The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has announced a recruitment notification for a total of 708 positions, including Forest Guards and Wildlife Guards, aimed at youth preparing for government jobs.

Among the 708 vacancies, there are 318 posts for Forest Guards (General Selection), 10 for Wildlife Guards (General Selection), 329 for Forest Guards (Special Selection), and 51 for Wildlife Guards (Special Selection).

The online application process will commence on June 30, with the last date for submission set for July 20. Candidates wishing to fill out the application form can do so within the stipulated time frame once the link on the official website becomes active. Additionally, a correction window for candidates who make mistakes while filling out the application will be available until June 27.

Applicants must have completed their intermediate (12th grade) from the Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Council or an equivalent recognized board. Moreover, candidates must meet other specified eligibility criteria.

The minimum age for applicants is set at 18 years, while the maximum age is 40 years, calculated as of July 1. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per regulations.

Selection of eligible candidates will be based on shortlisting, written examination, Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), medical examination, and document verification. Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹19,900 to ₹63,200.

All candidates must pay the prescribed application fee of ₹25 online while submitting their application forms. It is important to note that the application will only be accepted after the registration fee is paid.

Following this, candidates must register and log in. They should then fill in all required information in the form, upload the necessary documents in the correct size, pay the registration fee, and submit the form. Finally, candidates should print out the application form for future reference.
