Udaipur’s Shivang Haldeniya Wins Bronze at National Powerlifting Championship

Udaipur, January 24, 2026 (Udaipur Kiran): Shivang Haldeniya from Udaipur has brought pride to the city by winning a bronze medal at the National Powerlifting Championship held in Haridwar under the aegis of the Indian Powerlifting Federation.

With this achievement, Shivang Haldeniya, son of Vishal Haldeniya, has not only made his family proud but has also enhanced the reputation of Udaipur at the national level. The championship witnessed participation from powerlifters across the country, making the competition highly challenging.

Shivang’s success is the result of his consistent hard work, strict discipline, and dedicated training. Competing against athletes from various regions, he delivered an impressive performance to secure a place on the podium.

Expressing happiness over his achievement, family members and well-wishers, including Roop Singh and Sanaullah Khan, congratulated Shivang and wished him a bright future.

Sharing details of the achievement, Powerlifting Association President Kapil Tank said that Shivang’s victory will serve as a source of inspiration for other young athletes. Members of the association also congratulated him and extended their best wishes for even better performances in the future.
