Udaipur’s Mitansh Sahu Shines in State Chess Championship, Qualifies for SGFI Nationals

Udaipur, October 7 (Udaipur Kiran): Mitansh Sahu, a talented student of MDS Public School, Udaipur, delivered an outstanding performance at the State-Level Chess Championship held in Sikar, securing the second position with a total of 7 points and an impressive performance rating of 1840. Based on this remarkable achievement, Mitansh has been selected for the SGFI National Chess Championship.

During the competition, Mitansh defeated several strong players representing reputed districts and schools, including Krikrishna (Lokesh Senior Secondary School, Gulpara Nagar), Harshvardhan Sharma (Modern School, Nayanohda Kota), Madhur Swami (Shiksha High School), Aryan Mehta (Aditya Birla Public School, Nathdwara), Rushit Karodia (Bal Bharti Senior Secondary English School, Arya Nagar), Shaurya Bhargav (Seedling Public School), and Arnav Meena (3D Science Academy Senior Secondary School). His consistent victories and strategic brilliance helped him claim the runner-up position at the state level.
