Rs 1 Lakh Cash and Gold Jewellery Stolen from Anchor’s Car Outside Udaipur Trade Fair
Rs 1 lakh in cash and gold jewellery were stolen from anchor Pratiksha Dave’s car parked outside the Udaipur Mega Trade Fair on Thursday night.
Udaipur, October 24 (Udaipur Kiran) : Rs 1 lakh in cash and gold jewellery were stolen from the car of professional anchor Pratiksha Dave outside the Mega Trade Fair at BN University ground in Udaipur’s Bhupalpura police station area last night.

Unknown miscreants broke the glass of Dave’s Thar car, which was parked under the flyover in front of the fair, and escaped with a bag kept inside.
The stolen bag contained approximately Rs 1 lakh in cash, a gold mangalsutra (a traditional wedding necklace), gold earrings, and a gold chain.
Dave discovered the theft when she returned from the fair about an hour after parking her car around 9 pm. She found the car’s glass broken and the bag missing.
“The incident did not happen very late at night, and there was traffic on both sides of the road at the time. Despite this, the thieves carried out the theft,” Dave said.
She immediately filed a complaint at Bhupalpura police station.
Police are reviewing CCTV footage from the area and have begun searching for the culprits.
Dave has demanded that the police take prompt action to recover her stolen belongings and ensure strict legal action against those responsible.
