Udaipur, March 14 (Udaipur Kiran): The special train operating between Udaipur and Jaipur will now run as a regular service following a request by MP Dr. Mannalal Rawat.
According to a letter sent to Dr. Rawat by Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, the special train number 09721/22 running between Jaipur and Udaipur City has been regularised.
Earlier, the train used to depart from Jaipur at 6:15 am and reach Udaipur at 1:25 pm. On the return journey, it departed from Udaipur at 3:05 pm and reached Jaipur at 10:15 pm.
Now the train will operate regularly with new numbers 20993/20994 under the name Jaipur–Udaipur City Express.
Dr. Mannalal Rawat expressed gratitude to Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw for approving the regular operation of the train.
