Lucknow, April 25: The results announced by the Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Council (U.P. Board) have showcased an outstanding performance by the Jay Prakash Narayan Sarvodaya Schools, operated by the Social Welfare Department. The high school results recorded an impressive 99.19% pass rate, while the intermediate results stood at 99.03%.
This remarkable achievement by government schools highlights that with quality education, better resources, and a disciplined environment, students can excel at any level.
Notably, students from the Jay Prakash Narayan Sarvodaya Girls’ School in Ghaziabad achieved significant milestones. Anjali Pundir, a student in the science stream, secured 88.20% marks, placing fourth in the district, while Anshika followed closely with 87.40%, earning the sixth position.
The success of these students clearly indicates that when girls are provided with better opportunities, they can excel in all fields. In the academic year 2025-26, a total of 2,457 students from Sarvodaya Schools appeared for the high school examination, out of which 2,437 passed.
Among the top performers in high school were Ujala Nishad from Saidpur Girls’ School in Ghazipur with 94.33%, Anushka Tripathi from Kaudihar in Prayagraj with 93.16%, Pawan Kumar from Hardouli in Banda with 92.67%, Aadarsh Kumar from Raya in Bhadohi with 92.66%, and Sunil Kumar from Naugad in Chandauli with 92.50%.
In the intermediate science stream, 1,058 students participated, with 1,046 passing. In the arts stream, 801 students appeared, and 795 were successful. Notable performances included Radhika from Dhaulaghar in Bijnor with 86.80%, Suman Bharti from Sirsiya Hetimpur in Kushinagar with 86.20%, Shalu from Gauriganj in Amethi with 85.20%, and Komal and Gayatri from Bijnor with 84.80%.
In the science stream, Anjali Pundir from Ghaziabad scored 88.20%, Deepak Singh from Khaga, Fatehpur achieved 88.00%, Anshika from Ghaziabad secured 87.40%, Manashu from Kaudihar in Prayagraj scored 86.20%, and Vikas Yadav from Mehrauna in Deoria obtained 85.60%.
Officials from the Social Welfare Department stated that the Yogi government has provided facilities such as smart classes, trained teachers, books, better laboratories, and a safe environment in the Jay Prakash Narayan Sarvodaya Schools. These initiatives have had a direct impact on the examination results, giving the Sarvodaya Schools a new identity through modern facilities, quality education, and student-friendly schemes.
