Their respective families were tensed when both the boys didnt return home till night. Family members launched a search operation, however, could find not news of them until in the morning when villagers spotted two pair of chappals and clothes near the pond. Sukher police was informed and before the rescue team arrived, some of the youths jumped into the water and pulled out both the bodies. The boys had perhaps thought of taking a bath in the pond after the haircut and were drowned by getting into deep waters, police said. Both were students of class 9 in a private school at Sapetiya. Grief struck the locality as people were informed of the tragedy.
