Udaipur, February 27, 2026 (Udaipur Kiran): In view of the additional passenger rush, the Railways has temporarily increased coaches in select trains and diverted the route of one service due to technical work.

Two second-class sleeper coaches have been added to the Delhi Sarai–Udaipur City Express. These coaches will be attached from Delhi Sarai between March 1 and March 31, and from Udaipur City between March 2 and April 1. The move is expected to reduce the waiting list during the Holi and festive season.
Meanwhile, rail traffic will remain affected between Kanpur Central and Kanpur Pull Baen Kinara rail section due to technical work on Bridge No. 110. As a result, the Udaipur City–Kamakhya Express will operate on a diverted route from Udaipur City on April 6, 13, 20, 27 and May 4 and 11.
The train will now run via Kasganj, Shahjahanpur, Sitapur City, Budhwal and Gorakhpur. Due to the route diversion, it will not halt at Farrukhabad Junction, Gursahaiganj, Kannauj, Kanpur Anwarganj, Kanpur Central, Lucknow, Ayodhya Cantt, Ayodhya Dham and Mankapur stations.
