Pali, October 25 (Udaipur Kiran): In a tragic road accident on the Pali–Jodhpur National Highway (NH-62) on Friday evening, two people lost their lives and seven others were seriously injured after a car overturned multiple times near Lalki Mod in Rohat. The accident occurred when one of the car’s tyres suddenly burst, causing the vehicle to lose control and overturn three times before crashing into a farm fence by the roadside.

Rohat Police Station In-Charge Pana Chaudhary confirmed that 18-year-old Mitraj Singh, son of Gunwant Singh, and 3-year-old Vishwaraj, son of Praveen Singh, died on the spot. The injured were immediately taken to Rohat Hospital and later referred to Jodhpur for advanced treatment.
According to police, all the victims belonged to the same family and were returning from a Jaisalmer-Barmer religious tour. The family hails from Asapura (Abu Road, Rajasthan) and Rangpur (Gandhinagar) and Bhatnagar (Mehsana), Gujarat.

Along with two other family members who sustained serious injuries and are undergoing treatment in Jodhpur.
Following the accident, ASI Ridhmal Vishnoi and a police team reached the spot and began rescue operations. The car was found completely mangled due to the impact.
The heart-wrenching incident has left the local community in shock and grief. Police have registered a case and initiated an investigation into the cause of the accident.
