Banswara, October 23 (Udaipur Kiran): A tragic road accident in Rajasthan’s Banswara district claimed the lives of three young men after two motorcycles collided head-on in the Sadar police station area on Wednesday evening. Two others sustained serious injuries and have been referred to Udaipur for advanced medical treatment.

Police swiftly responded to the scene and, based on reports from the families, identified the deceased as Ramesh (33), son of Kodra, and Khoma (28), son of Babla, both residents of Palodra, and Aaron (17), son of Jephrin, a resident of Pathanpura Bhaktpura.
Following legal formalities, post-mortems were conducted, and the bodies were handed over to the families for last rites.
The two injured youths were first taken to Mahatma Gandhi Hospital in Banswara for initial treatment. Due to their critical condition, doctors referred them to Udaipur for specialized care.
Upon receiving the information, senior district officials and police officers rushed to the site. District Collector Dr. Indrajit Singh Yadav, Additional SP Dr. Rajesh Bhardwaj, Sub-Divisional Officer, and Kotwali Station House Officer Roop Singh Charan were among those who reached the spot and supervised the situation.
The police have launched a detailed investigation to determine the exact cause of the accident. Preliminary reports suggest that high speed and poor visibility could be possible factors.
