Summer Relief: Extra Coaches Added in Several Trains

Udaipur, March 31 (Udaipur Kiran): In view of the expected surge in passenger traffic during the summer holidays, Indian Railways has decided to temporarily add extra coaches across multiple train services to improve passenger convenience. The move is expected to benefit travellers, especially those commuting through Rajasthan.

Summer Special Trains

According to railway officials, the Delhi Sarai–Udaipur City train service has been provided with two additional sleeper class coaches during April. Similarly, one extra sleeper coach has been added to the Ajmer–Amritsar train service.

Additional coaches have also been attached to Ajmer–Bandra Terminus Special, Ajmer–Solapur Special, and Ajmer–Sealdah train services. The Ajmer–Delhi Sarai Rohilla Jan Shatabdi train now includes one extra AC chair car coach.

In the Jodhpur–Indore train service, two sleeper class and three general coaches have been added. Meanwhile, Ajmer–Agra Fort and Madar–Rewari train services have also been strengthened with additional general class coaches.

Railway authorities stated that this arrangement is temporary and will remain in effect till April. The initiative is aimed at improving availability of confirmed tickets and reducing overcrowding in trains.
