Mumbai, April 7: In light of the increased passenger traffic during the summer holidays, the Indian Railways is set to operate two special train services for the convenience of travelers. One of these services, the Coimbatore-Jaipur-Coimbatore Weekly Express Special, will pass through Chittorgarh.
According to Amit Sudarshan, the Chief Public Relations Officer of the North Western Railway, train number 06181, the Coimbatore-Jaipur Weekly Express Special, will commence operations from April 9, 2026, until June 4, 2026, with a total of nine trips. The train will depart from Coimbatore every Thursday at 2:30 PM and will arrive in Jaipur on Saturday at 1:25 PM. Similarly, train number 06182, the Jaipur-Coimbatore Weekly Express Special, will run from April 12, 2026, to June 7, 2026, also with nine trips. This train will leave Jaipur every Sunday at 10:05 PM and reach Coimbatore on Wednesday at 8:30 AM.
The service will make stops at several stations along the route, including Tiruppur, Erode, Salem, Jolarpettai, Katpadi, Renigunta, Kadapa, Yerraguntla, Guntakal, Don, Kurnool City, Gadwal, Mahbubnagar, Kachiguda, Kamareddy, Nizamabad, Basar, Mudkhed, Nanded, Purna Junction, Hingoli, Washim, Akola, Malkapur, Bhusawal, Jalgaon, Nandurbar, Udhna, Bharuch, Vadodara, Godhra, Ratlam, Jawra, Mandsaur, Neemuch, and Chittorgarh, as well as several other stations.
This special service will consist of a total of 20 coaches, including 18 Third AC coaches and 2 power cars.
