Udaipur, February 13 (Udaipur Kiran): The Shri Eklingji Trust has announced that the festival of Mahashivratri (Vikram Samvat 2082) will be celebrated with special rituals at the Eklingnath Temple in Kailashpuri on Sunday night, February 15, 2026.

As per the Trust, the regular Trikaal Puja on February 15 will be conducted as on normal days. The special Mahashivratri puja will begin at 10:00 pm on the night of Phalgun Krishna Trayodashi and will continue through all four prahars. The rituals will conclude the next day, February 16, between 11:30 am and 12:00 noon.
During each of the four prahars, special adornment and Panchamrit rituals will be performed. In every prahar, 13 Rudri recitations will take place. For the Panchamrit, 9.25 kg each of milk, curd, ghee, honey and sugar will be offered in every prahar. A total of 52 Rudrabhishek rituals will be performed during the night. The Palace Band will also render seva throughout all four prahars.
The temple will remain open for continuous darshan from 10:00 pm on Sunday, February 15, until 11:30 am on Monday, February 16, as the Mahashivratri puja will continue without interruption. After completion of the special rituals, the regular Trikaal Puja will commence, and general darshan will again remain open until 8:00 pm on Monday.
The Trust has appealed to devotees to visit for Mahashivratri darshan between 10:00 pm on February 15 and noon on February 16.
