South Africa Set 214-Run Target for India in Second T20; de Kock Scores 90

Sports Desk, December 11 (Udaipur Kiran): South Africa have set a target of 214 runs for India in the second T20I played in Mullanpur on Thursday. Team India won the toss and opted to bowl first, but South Africa posted a strong total of 213 runs for the loss of 4 wickets. Opener Quinton de Kock was the star performer for the visitors, scoring a brilliant 90. He was run out by wicketkeeper Jitesh Sharma.

For India, spinner Varun Chakravarthy picked up two wickets, while Axar Patel claimed one. De Kock’s dismissal came through a run-out. Among the other South African batters, skipper Aiden Markram scored 29, Dewald Brevis 14, Donovan Ferreira 30 and David Miller 20. Reeza Hendricks managed only 8 runs.
