Nine months after its US launch, Sony has finally launched PlayStation Portal in India. If you think it’s too late, it’s quite normal for Sony India as all PlayStation products are always late in this region.
PlayStation Portal is a portable remote player for the PlayStation 5 console. Allows you to wirelessly stream installed PS5 and PS4 games from your console to your device via your home Wi-Fi network. For example, you can play Portal on your PS5 in your bedroom while someone else is using the TV.
Portal is a DualSense controller with a display in the middle. It has the same features and functions as the DualSense, including touch and adaptive stimuli. The center display is an 8-inch 60Hz IPS LCD with 1080p resolution. The display is touchscreen and can track the DualSense touchpad.
PlayStation Portal has built-in speakers and a headphone jack for audio playback. You can also connect Sony accessories such as Sony PULSE Explore and PULSE Elite headphones to the device for wireless sound.
The PlayStation Portal is priced at INR 18,990 and will be available from today, August 3 at Sony Centers, Amazon, Flipkart, Croma, Reliance, Vijay Sales, Blinkit and participating retail stores.
