Jammu : A shopkeeper held a shopkeeper for selling illicit liquor in Jammu and Kashmir’s district Doda on Saturday. In a tip off through reliable source that a person Chain Singh Son of Daya Krishan of Chakrana presently Shopkeeper Seri was carrying illegally liquor from Ghati Morh.
During checking the said person carrying a bag on his shoulder on seeing police tried to fled but the police party of Police post, Bhalra nabbed him and during checking recovered 51 pouches of desi whisky 250 ml each which the accused was canbsp; for illegal trade . On this Case FIR No.74/2018 U/S 48 (a) Excise Act has been registered In Police Station Bhaderwah and investigation is being carried out in this matter.
