
Udaipur : A Rajsamand court ordered judicial custody to Shambulal Raigar, the man who had killed brutally, Afrazul a labourer from West Bengal on 6 december. Shambu was arrested on 7 and had been in police remand since. On Friday, the accused was produced before the court. Shambu’s lawyer Sameer Vyas asked the court for a medical check up to assess Shambu’s mental condition as he said that the accused was under mental depression. The accused was taken to RK hospital however due to doctors strike, the authorities expressed inability to conduct the examination. later it was decided that Shambu would be sent to RNT medical college Udaipur where a medical board would assess his mental condition.
